I am a freelance journalist, writer, broadcaster, consultant and trainer. I am available for writing assignments, radio, television and public speaking gigs as well as corporate writing (copywriting, creative content, blogging/social media on behalf of clients).
I write about anything and everything, and love nothing more than getting my teeth into an exciting and inspiring story. In the name of frivolous journalism, I’ve posed nude for an artist, trained as a private eye, worked as a Santa’s little helper, performed as an ice dancer in panto, learned how to be a good housewife, and admitted to stealing my son’s pocket money.
Wearing my serious hat, I produce well-researched, thought-provoking, informative copy on health, pregnancy and birth, parenting, family and women’s issues. I also write about vegetarian and vegan food, drink and lifestyle for Vegetarian Living and Vegan Living, and am a regular contributor on business issues and entrepreneurship for the Costco Connection.
My clients include the Daily Mail, Daily & Sunday Express, Daily & Sunday Telegraph, The Guardian, the Independent plus many consumer and B2B mags and online publications.
I am a regular on various BBC radio stations, talking about current affairs, parenting, family issues and relationships and lots more besides. I also do telly (This Morning, Daybreak, Vanessa, London Tonight, The Titchmarsh Show, And Baby Makes Three (royal baby doc, C5), obscure cable stuff…) and you can see some of my TV work on my YouTube page here.
